Frequently asked questions

  • Coaching is a co-active partnership where, through thought-provoking conversations, you make desired changes in your life.

As adults, we often need an outside thinking partner to reflect back our thoughts, patterns, and beliefs that might hinder us from becoming our best selves.

In a coaching session, I don’t advise or provide solutions. I am not the expert on you. As your coach, I create a safe, open space for you to explore your thoughts, unlock realizations, and gain insights. These moments of clarity can have a lasting impact on your career path and future decisions.

  • We often get stuck overthinking the same dilemmas, problems, or issues and need a thought disruptor. A coach reflects back our thoughts and asks the right questions to help us think differently and solve our problems. Discussing concerns with friends and family can be challenging as we may not get the attention and focus required to keep track of our thinking. Loved ones often offer well-intentioned advice that may not be helpful. As a coach, I am trained to listen without an agenda and hold space for you to unpack your thoughts. I am your thinking partner, solely serving you without interruption from advice or guidelines. My role is to challenge you in a way that disrupts your thinking, allowing new insights and answers to emerge within yourself, with the intention of helping you become the best version of yourself.

  • The first step to prioritize your professional development is to schedule a 15-minute discovery call with me here.

  • Coaching is not therapy and does not substitute for therapy if needed. It does not prevent, cure, or treat any mental disorder or medical disease. Coaching focuses on the present and on achieving future goals.

Coaching is not about guiding or advising you on what you should do. I will never tell you what to do because I am not an expert on you. Only you know what you will do. However, as your coach, I use powerful questions and tools to help you find your own path.

  • The greatest impact of coaching in the early stages of your career is that it's not about receiving another well-thought-out piece of advice from someone else. Instead, coaching helps you tap into your own potential, gain self-awareness, and discover what truly aligns with your values and goals. It empowers you to make decisions based on your own insights, rather than relying on external opinions, ensuring you build a career path that feels authentic and fulfilling from the start. Unlike career counseling, which often provides direct guidance and solutions, coaching helps you explore and navigate your own path.

  • In our sessions, mentoring is distinct from coaching, offering personalized advice based on my experience without overshadowing our coaching focus. I provide guidance on specific topics like CV preparation and review.
